Checking out a spot I had gone to 20 years ago……….. The guy who built the stone houses decided to build one for himself and never finished it ,now it is up for sale! The people down here call it the crazy house because it is built so strange.
UNBELIEVABLE! is the only word to describe it. Beautiful stones everywhere, AMAZING. So sad to see this place not finished. Nothing boarded in, nature just tears through here all year long, right smack down on the wild ocean! The stone walls that are up will last forever, wow!Gigantic post, it would take 2 people to put their arms around it, what a tree that must have been, it goes right up through the second floor into the roof,AMAZING!What a talent for working with stones! Wonderful, wonderful, stone work. The fireplaces are beautiful, someone has been doing a lot of partying here, lots of bottles. Shame.
Upstairs, how do I get up there? Looks like I have to climb that rock and then jump up to the second floor, looks slippery, and tricky, gotta try it anyway!
Man, I shouldn’t done that!! Couldn’t get back down ,it took me 15 min, inching my way down. I told my husband I wouldn’t take chances like that, no one knows where I am and if I fell and knocked myself out or got injured no one would find me for days!!Oh well, it was a great view, my camera was out of my reach so I couldn’t get any pics.
This land is special ,you can feel it! High tide must come right up to the front yard. I have got to come back in a storm! It doesn’t matter what amount of money he wants for this place, it is worth it!! Money is nothing compared to the beauty and peacefulness of this spot!!! I’ll be back!!
