Here are some pics of my Artwork.Everything is botanical and natural.Some of the pieces I use are delicate,but are very sturdy.I have preserved some of them with a lacquer,even though the salty air and strong sun have preserved them well enough.I use various types of Fungi,and lichen.My blogs will tell the adventures of collecting them.The shells I use are all from the local area.Sometimes I get tourists who have bought an Island or property and want me to create a piece from their land.I spend long hours and difficult hikes through rough terrain to find what I need or like .I have spent many a night on Islands that have tides that come and go,you can only get to them when the tide is low and if you miss the tide then you have to wait till it comes around again.I have been lost too many times,so now I have a cell phone and GPS finder,that makes my family feel a lot better.It may take a month of beachcombing until I find enough special pieces to create something that I am pleased with.The whole feeling of my Art is almost spiritual to people,it seems to take them to a feeling of nostalgia,back to our roots of mother earth.Some of the pics have close ups so you can see a little closer.My Art can be seen in” The Flight Of Fancy” in Bear River,N.S .
